Greg Nichols
teaching
I'm long out of grad school, so this is here for (increasingly) historical purposes.

I was a TA for many different classes. Each class demanded a different mix of roles from the TA, and as such I graded, lectured, held office hours, led discussion sections, taught labs, and performed whatever other tasks were required to be the best TA I could for my students. During the 2006-2007 academic year, I had sole responsibility for two semesters of a C++ class; the web pages for those courses are linked below.

Classes I have TAed for in the past:
Spring 2009: Computer Science II: Data Structures (w/ Dr. Kasturi Varadarajan); Virtual Environments (w/ Dr. Sabarish Babu)
Fall 2008: Introduction to Informatics (w/ Dr. Alberto Segre)
Summer 2008: Computer Science II: Data Structures (w/ Dr. In Jeong Chung); Database Systems (w/ Dr. In Jeong Chung)
Spring 2008: Computer Security (w/ Dr. Eunjin Jung)
Fall 2007: Computer Graphics (w/ Dr. Chris Wyman)
Summer 2007: Computer Science II: Data Structures (w/ Dr. In Jeong Chung); Introduction to Informatics (w/ Dr. Alberto Segre)
Spring 2007: Programming with C++ (sole responsibility)
Fall 2006: Programming with C++ (sole responsibility)
Spring 2006: Algorithms (w/ Dr. Suely Oliveira)
Fall 2005: Computer Organization (w/ Dr. Doug Jones)
Spring 2005: Computer Science II: Data Structures (w/ Dr. Alberto Segre)
Fall 2004: Computer Science II: Data Structures (w/ Dr. Sriram Pemmaraju)

In addition to TAing, I served as a Continuing Education instructor at Kirkwood Community College from Fall 2007 to Fall 2008, teaching short classes on everything from Microsoft Word to web design.
